MINTRAC updates

MINTRAC is pleased to announce two leadership appointments that reinforce the organisation's continued commitment to delivering high-quality workforce development, stakeholder engagement and industry advisory services across Australia.

Mark Wadsworth appointed General Manager - JSC Program

While Mark Wadsworth is well known across MINTRAC and the industries we support, we are delighted to announce his appointment as General Manager - JSC Program.

As MINTRAC's Service Delivery Partner lead for the Skills Insight Jobs and Skills Council (JSC), Mark will oversee MINTRAC's JSC program of work, providing strategic leadership across all resources supporting the program and strengthening collaboration with Skills Insight and key stakeholders.

With extensive knowledge of JSC operations and well-established industry relationships, Mark will provide leadership across MINTRAC's JSC program of work, with all resources supporting the program reporting through to him in a coordinated delivery structure.

MINTRAC CEO Mick Crouch said the appointment recognises Mark's consistent leadership and contribution to the organisation.

"I'm excited about Mark's appointment to this senior leadership role. His promotion reflects the commitment, expertise and leadership he has consistently demonstrated, and I'm confident he will continue to strengthen our collaboration with Skills Insight and deliver outstanding outcomes for industry."

Ben Holmes joins MINTRAC as General Manager - NSW ITAB

MINTRAC is also pleased to welcome Ben Holmes as General Manager – NSW Industry Training Advisory Board (ITAB).

Ben joins MINTRAC following the organisation's successful appointment to lead the NSW Agriculture and Food ITAB, bringing extensive experience in vocational education, workforce planning and agribusiness training systems. Having previously led the ITAB through Skills Insight, Ben's transition ensures continuity while supporting MINTRAC's expanded leadership across multiple agriculture and food industries.

The appointment also complements the ongoing leadership of Danielle Webster, who will continue to lead MINTRAC's meat industry portfolio, ensuring strong continuity for existing stakeholders while supporting the broader growth of the organisation.

"We're thrilled to welcome Ben to MINTRAC. His experience and understanding of industry training systems make him an outstanding addition to our leadership team, and we look forward to continuing to deliver high-quality workforce and skills advice across New South Wales," said Mick Crouch.

Ben's appointment follows MINTRAC's successful appointment to lead the NSW Agriculture and Food Industry Training Advisory Board (ITAB), a program previously delivered by Skills Insight in collaboration with MINTRAC. The transition places the ITAB fully under MINTRAC's leadership, representing an important milestone in the organisation's continued growth and expanding workforce and skills portfolio.

Looking Ahead

These appointments represent more than changes in personnel - they reflect MINTRAC's continued evolution as a trusted workforce and skills leader.

At MINTRAC, our people are our greatest strength. Recognising leadership, investing in capability and attracting experienced professionals are fundamental to delivering the highest level of service to industry.

Please join us in congratulating Mark and Ben on their appointments. We wish them every success in their new roles.
