NSW Farm Safety Training Forum - National Agriculture Day Event
Strengthening farm safety through industry collaboration, awareness of training and a shared commitment to safer agricultural workplaces.
As part of the activities recognising National Agriculture Day 2026, AFAM ITAB, on behalf of the NSW Agriculture and Production Horticulture Industry Training Advisory Committee (APH ITAC), will bring together key stakeholders in Hay, NSW, to explore the future of farm safety training.
The forum will provide an opportunity for industry representatives, training providers, government agencies, agricultural organisations and other key stakeholders to share insights into current farm safety challenges, available training programs and opportunities to improve access to relevant, practical safety education.
A key outcome of the forum will be to work towards a shared industry position on farm safety training in NSW, identifying priorities and opportunities to inform future advocacy, collaboration and training development.
The event reflects the importance of bringing industry voices together to support safer workplaces, stronger skills and a more resilient agricultural workforce.
