As a service delivery partner to the Skills Insight Jobs and Skills Council, MINTRAC has been commissioned to develop and deliver a Poultry industry biosecurity training program. An industry advisory group has been established and has endorsed the design of a biosecurity training program which we are ready to test with industry during a pilot training event.
The training program has been designed to provide best practice guidance for biosecurity management and planning across the following cohorts:
The one-day training exercise will cover the following:
Participants will walk away with a documented Biosecurity Management Plan, which they will develop during the training. Stakeholders who currently have a biosecurity management plan in place will be encouraged to bring their plan with them to the training, and conduct an assessment on the plan’s currency, thoroughness, and consider opportunities to update or improve the plan.
