WA Meat Processing Industry Roundtable

NOTICE OF MEETING: 2nd Roundtable Meeting

The WA Meat Processing Industry Roundtable will reconvene for its second meeting, continuing the collaborative work commenced in Bunbury in July.

Bringing together meat processing employers, industry representatives, training providers, workforce organisations and other key stakeholders, the Roundtable provides a forum to progress shared workforce priorities and turn industry discussion into practical, coordinated action.

The meeting agenda will include:

• Confirmation of the Terms of Reference and Meeting Charter
• WA meat industry overview and key developments
• Development of the WA Meat Industry Roadmap
• Progress on priority actions identified by the Roundtable, including recruitment and attraction, training and upskilling, workforce retention and support, and future skills and productivity
• Identification of next actions, responsibilities and priorities
• General business

The meeting will build on the outcomes of the inaugural Roundtable and continue strengthening collaboration around the current and future workforce needs of Western Australia’s meat processing sector.
