The Approved Arrangement and traceability
Management role in traceability has to be detailed in the Approved Arrangement (AA) ensuring that:
- persons raising, signing and validating RFPs must be listed in the establishment's AA
- persons conducting load out inspections and signing MTCs must also be listed in the AA
- product is identifiable at each stage of production (document linkages) and the traceability system allows product market eligibility to be readily shown.
In addition, it is management's responsibility to:
- Ensure that all of the relevant people understand and can demonstrate how the establishments product integrity, traceability, MTC completion and RFP submission system works.
- Review the establishments AA against Meat Notices 2013/02 and 2014/01
