Importance of this training
Checking and validating export documentation is vitally important.
The processing of RFPs starts when the information is gathered to raise the RFP.
When the RFP is initially raised it is the responsibility of the person raising the RFP to ensure that the information entered into the RFP is accurate.
If the information in export documentation is incorrect shipments can be rejected from overseas markets and large financial costs incurred.
Note: Persons who make false or misleading statements to a Commonwealth entity may be prosecuted under the Criminal Code Act 1995 Part 7.4
