As part of National Skills Week, MINTRAC will host a South Australian Meat Industry Business Breakfast to share with industry an overview of the Occupational Recognition Service (ORS) for the South Australian meat industry.
This initiative aims to highlight how ORS can deliver tangible benefits to both employers and employees by recognising existing skills and experience.
Special Offer – Free Assessment for a Limited Number of Candidates
As part of the project, MINTRAC is offering a limited number of candidates the opportunity to complete the ORS assessment at no cost.
We encourage all SA meat industry stakeholders from Meat Processing, Retail Butchers and Smallgoods Operators to bring along an employee they would like to nominate for the scheme.
Please note:
The employee must be employed for at least the duration of the qualification they are seeking recognition for.
Further details are available on our Project Page
Industry Updates
The breakfast will also include updates from the SA Skills Commission, the upcoming Stage 3 AMP Training Package projects, and a round table discussion between employers, operational leaders and training organisations.
