Due to the continuing interest from the industry, MINTRAC is working with Superior Training, a Sydney based RTO, to deliver Ammonia Refrigeration training. 

We are hearing more and more about Big Data, the Internet of Things (IOT), Blockchain and the digital economy but most of us do not know exactly what they are and how they will affect companies, and the meat processing industry, in the future.

Due to the popularity of the recently completed online training films, MINTRAC is looking at developing more online films. We are interested in finding out what topics would be the most useful for the industry and what other languages the films could be translated into.

If you are currently delivering training to meat processing maintenance staff (such as trades assistants, tradespersons and maintenance supervisors) or considering training anyone in this area then this webinar is for you. 

As part of the National Health 4 Wealth program, a series of free workshops will be held across Australia at the end of September/beginning of October on maximising the benefits of collecting animal health data at abattoirs

Now in its eighth year, this year National Skills Week is 27 August to 2 September and the theme is Real Skills for Real Careers.

The National Retail Council, through AMIC, has raised a concern in relation to the number of units required to complete the Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) qualification.
