Post Mortem Inspection Changes Workshop




MINTRAC is offering a free workshop for RTO trainers, assessors and staff regarding the recent and coming changes to Schedules 2 and 3 of the Australian Standard for Hygienic Production and Transportation of Meat and Meat Products for Human Consumption (AS 4696). The workshop will be facilitated by key researcher, Andrew Pointon of APFoodIntegrity Pty Ltd.

This is the ONLY workshop that will be offered. 

WHAT WILL THE WORKSHOP COVER?
This workshop is designed specifically for trainers and assessors to inform you of the changes to meat inspection procedures and dispositions required by AS4696 so that you can incorporate the changes into your training and assessment strategies, practices and materials. 
Key topics will include:
  • Background to the review of the standard
  • Schedule 2 alternative procedures
  • Schedule 3 alternative criteria
  • Implementation and rollout
  • Training implications.
