Technology is rapidly making big changes to our lives. Blockchain, augmented and virtual reality, AI, data analytics and traceability which were virtually unheard of 10 years ago, are becoming more and more mainstream. These technologies have the potential to disrupt the way companies do business however, this doesnot have to be a bad thing, companies that embrace and plan for technological changes find it can benefit them in a variety of ways.
MINTRAC, in conjunction with TAFE QLD Southwest and Greenleaf Enterprises, is running a Digital Disruption program for meat processors. The program will discuss technologies already impacting the industry and provide participants with the knowledge they need to plan for the future.
The Digital Disruption program consists of six webinars and a practical workshop. The webinars will cover the following topics:
At the following workshop participants will work on a digital roadmap for their company. The roadmap will detail the opportunities, risks, timeframes and financial scenarios for each of the topics covered in the webinars.
The 30-minute webinars will be held on Friday mornings (10.00 till 10.30 am) starting 1 March 2019.
Three workshops will be held
one in Brisbane on 12 April, one in Toowoomba on 19 April and one in Rockhampton on 26 April.
